Folks who listen to my podcast know that I've been obsessed with finding and identifying orbweaver spiders around my house. This one here is the Araneus trifolium or "Shamrock Orbweaver." Large females usually starte appearing in the fall, and they tend to freak people out. They are, however, quite harmles and very beneficial! This gorgeous female here was filmed in Connecticut.
